Un Three-Lievable! Steph Curry Takes, And MAKES, 105 3-Point Shots in A Row At Practice!

There is only so much that NBA phenom Stephen Curry can do with a wounded Golden State Warriors team, but the shooting star is still creating unbelievable moments.

During the Warriors’ Saturday practice in Chicago, Curry made 105 consecutive 3-pointers from the right corner. The Warriors caught the final 103 shots on video as Golden State assistant coach Bruce Fraser counted and delivered assists.

“It was SO amazing – 105 3s in a row,” Fraser texted The Associated Press. “I knew it could be special around 30. Just amazing. There wasn’t anything about the one he missed. I was actually more focused on just delivering good passes. I was nervous! Haha. Yes, lots of swishes.”

Curry, 32, is one made 3-point shot from joining Ray Allen and Reggie Miller as the only NBA players to reach 2,500 made 3-pointers in their pro careers.

His Golden State coach, Steve Kerr, said the two-time MVP broke his previous best of 77 in a row and suggested that the Guinness Book of World Records should chronicle Saturday’s feat because the Warriors provided video proof.

But Kerr said that only after also offering some locker-room comedy.

“So he choked and couldn’t make the 106th one,” Kerr told NBA.com. “I guess he didn’t have it in him. It’s very disappointing.”

Curry actually has been in a shooting slump to start the season, after playing only five games last season because of a broken left hand. Curry missed 16 of 20 shots from 3-point range in two Golden State losses last week, but maybe going without a 3-point miss for more than five minutes is a good sign for his muscle memory. Or maybe he just needed to take those braids out.
