In case it hasn’t been evident the past four years, President Trump has never been one to back down from media attacks. Some might say he actually enjoys them. And as election day draws close, he is defending himself from what he calls a “faked and biased” interview with “60 Minutes.” The interesting thing about this interview is that it hasn’t even aired yet.

CBS reporter Lesley Stahl is at the center of the latest controversy. Trump posted a six-second video on Twitter of Stahl, not wearing a mask at the White House after her interview with the president, and Trump commented, “Lesley Stahl of ‘60 Minutes’ not wearing a mask in the White House after her interview with me. Much more to come.”

A couple hours later, we received more from the president in another Tweet, “I am pleased to inform you that, for the sake of accuracy in reporting, I am considering posting my interview with Lesley Stahl of ‘60 Minutes,’ PRIOR TO AIRTIME! This will be done so that everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about,” he wrote. “Everyone should compare this terrible electoral intrusion with the recent interviews of “Sleepy” Joe Biden!”

At a campaign event in Erie, Pa., Tuesday afternoon, Trump addressed the interview once again, “You have to watch what we are going to do to ’60 Minutes,’ you are going to get such a kick out of it. Lesley Stahl is not going to be happy.”

The ‘60 Minutes’ interview is set to air this Sunday. As for the Trump version of it … stay tuned.
