Every Wall Street analyst worth their salt has an opinion on Tesla’s stock price. Musk is dynamic, outspoken, interesting and a genius, so he’s going to get attention every time he talks.
And the said this week, that not only is he a fan of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, said he would never turn the opportunity to be paid in bitcoin.
Ben Mezrich, the author of the book The Social Network and Bitcoin Billionaires sent out a tweet saying “I’m never turning down getting paid in bitcoin again.” Musk replied: “Me neither.”
The value of the cryptocurrency and bitcoin market combined is over $1 trillion. Bitcoin has now passed $40,000 per coin this past week.
The real-time Billionaires List, put out by Forbes each day has Musk on top of the pile of cash, worth $189.7 billion. Jeff Bezos is nipping at his heels, worth $185.7 billion Sunday.
