Finally, something on Twitter that would be impossible to censor.
A creative genius named Jason Gallagher posted a very clever video on Twitter that he described as his “December passion project.”
He took Tom Cruise’s R-rated, obscenity-laced tirade from the “Mission: Impossible 7” set in London and mashed it with a scene from “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” the television classic that first aired in 1964 and has played on network television every year since.
By Friday afternoon the mashup was approaching 1 million views and multiple famous people had left comments on the tweet. There’s just something surreal, and hilarious, about watching the beloved Rankin/Bass Santa puppet screaming, swearing and publicly shaming reindeer and elves about violating COVID-19 precautions.
