Whether you are a fan of President Trump or not, you have to at least say this: He’s personally responsible for making sure there is never a “slow news day.” It’s a given that as soon as he rolls out of bed he is moving the needle and causing big reactions one way or another. Here’s today’s daily news nugget: The president is planning a rally for Saturday night in the swing state of Florida, which also happens to be the state the next debate was scheduled for. The one that turned into a virtual debate that Trump vowed to skip.

The POTUS shared the news with Sean Hannity on Fox News Thursday night, which was exactly one week after Trump revealed he had tested positive for COVID-19. As of now, the White House has not revealed a negative test result for Trump, but he believes he’s recovered from the virus because of the great care he’s received from his medical team.

Trump told Hannity he feels “perfect,” and his doctors have publicly stated that the president “completed his course of therapy” for the disease.

While Trump has been über-active on Twitter and in the public consciousness constantly over the past eight days, outside of a number of videos he’s released on social media, he has not been seen in public since he returned to the White House from the military hospital where he was treated over the weekend.

No word yet where the potential rally in Florida would or could be; his campaign staff would first have to be able to pull off the logistics. And don’t rule out a second rally this weekend in the swing state of Pennsylvania too, Trump said.

Twenty-six days and counting until the election. There will not be one dull moment until then.
