Howard Stern used to have President Donald Trump’s ear when they were friends and Trump was an occasional guest on Stern’s satellite radio show.

If Trump is still listening to Stern, the nation’s top-paid radio host has some stern advice: Do not launch your own television news network. Doing so would go the way of Trump Airlines, Trump University, Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, Trump Magazine, Trump Mortgage, and his casinos, according to a doomed prediction from Stern.

“Now they are saying he is going to run his own news network,” Stern said on his Sirius XM show. “He thinks running the country is hard. Wait until he has to run a news network. That’ll fail inside of a year like all the other businesses. This is just insanity what’s going on.”

Trump has not acknowledged the speculation, but a Wall Street Journal report said Trump allies are looking into investing into conservative network Newsmax to be a competitor of Fox News, which has been considered largely a Trump-friendly network but has been disparaged by the president recently. Newsmax CEO Christ Ruddy said he would “never” give Trump control of the network.

Stern has said that he hates Trump supporters “for not having intelligence” and that Trump should have admitted, “I’m over my head and I don’t want to be president anymore.” Now, he is asking Trump to concede.

“For once, do something good for the country, calm down your (expletive) loony hillbilly friends and tell them you lost the election and you’re going to help the transition,” Stern said. “These loonies who follow you are all worked up. They think something was taken from them.”

Speaking of worked up, Howard seems to be pretty fired up about this topic too. Guess Stern won’t be moving his act to television for Trump TV.
