Fans of Eminem probably noticed that he changed his avatar on Twitter to a Bored Ape NFT.  Word is he had almost a half million reasons to.

The blockchain publication Decrypt reported that Marshal Mathers (Eminem) purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT that set him back $452k.

Slim Shady is joining a host of rappers, entertainers, actors, and celebrities jumping in on the NFT game.  Post Malone changed his avatar recently after an NFT purchase.  Same thing with Lil Baby. Oh, and Snoop Dogg now refers to himself in some circles as NFT kingpin Cozomo de’ Medici.

Mathers is pretty serious about the digital artwork it appears. His Shady Holdings alias on OpenSea owns 22 NFT’s, with his Bored Ape being the most valuable.

The Ape resembles Eminem. The ape is wearing a hat almost identical to one that Eminem wears frequently and is photographed in often. The Ape is also rocking gold chains like the rap star.
