The next best thing to driving huge revenue numbers for brands is being trusted.

Ideally, it would be nice to have both, but RepTrak just came out with their latest ratings of the most reputable brands in the world, and the top three are household names.

Two are top luxury brands, admired the world over, and one is a toy…

 The original list of companies RepTrak started their evaluation with was over 2,000.

They paired it down 100, then went to work finding out what people all over the world thought of the finalists.

68,577 people that live in the 15 largest economies in the world were polled.

The requirements to be considered in the top three were the following;

The company had to have $2 billion global revenue.

It had to recognized by at least 20% of those polled.

It had to score high numbers in their “reputation score.

Taking into account all the data, and demographic differences, RepTrak came up with the top three brands.

3.  Ferarri

2.  Rolex

  1. 1. Lego

The rest of the top 10 included the Bosch Group, Harley-Davidson, Canon, Adidas, Disney, Microsoft and Sony.

It’s an interesting list. Who knew so many adults that enjoy luxury brands also like to build things with plastic toys?
