A week after expressing his support for Donald Trump, Lil Wayne is now apparently looking for love. Rumors of the 38-year-old rapper’s split from model Denise Bidot have been circulating as she apparently could not handle Weezy’s support of the president.

Lil Wayne took to his Twitter account to address the news and said Bidot simply couldn’t handle the heat of being by his side. “I live the way I love and love the way I live. I’m a lover not a lighter bekuz they burn out. I am an eternal fire and burning love, either leave with a tan, a 3rd-degree burn, or stay and die in love. You’re sweating. Sincerely, the fireman” wrote Wayne.

Bidot turned to Instagram to confirm the split from “the fireman,” stating, “Sometimes love just isn’t enough” alongside a broken-heart emoji.

Prior to Election Day, Lil Wayne tweeted out a photo of himself and Donald Trump along with a message that read, “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

Weezy received plenty of backlash from the social media post and now can add losing his girlfriend to the aftermath. There is no word on who “the fireman” may ignite a love flame with next but his home state of Louisiana may be a good place to look. Trump won the Pelican State by almost 20 points.
