Dr. Anthony Fauci, the 80-year old doctor who is the nation’s leading infectious disease expert, makes a salary of $417,608, which makes him the highest-paid federal employee. How many total federal employees are there? Over 4 million, and Fauci is not only the highest paid doctor in the federal government, nobody makes more money than him, not even the President of the United States, whose salar pales at just $400,000 per year.
Fauci has literally gotten rich in the job he’s held for almost four decades. From 2010-2019, Fauci earned $3.6 million, and he’ll make another $2.5 million if he holds on to the job through 2024.
Former Vice President Mike Pence was the actual leader of the White House coronavirus task force that Fauci was a part of, and Pence only earned $235,100.
It was Fauci that came up with the idea of shutting down the country last spring, resulting in hundreds of thousands of businesses to go go under, and millions of Americans to suffer financially.
Other notable federal government salaries inclue Nancy Pelosi, who earned $223,500 and Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts who made $270,700.
House members and Senators make salaries of $174,000, or less than half of what the lead doctor who oversaw the worst worldwide pandemic that the United States has seen in a century makes.
