Liberal pundit Keith Olbermann started posting YouTube videos this week after he announced that ESPN had released him from his contract so he could resume political commentary. Olbermann said this is just the beginning of videos he will be releasing leading up to the election. “I’ll be doing a new, live daily commentary series with YouTube, focused on the presidential election called, ‘The Worst Person in the World,” and he went on to say,  “You didn’t really think I was going to sit out this election, did you?”

Let’s just say he did not ‘ease into things’ with his first video. He dove headfirst into an aggressive and fiery rant as he made it clear he has no plans to cozy up to, or even co-exist with conservatives anytime soon. Posted to the YouTube channel on his personal page, Olbermann launched into a tirade arguing that pretty much anyone associated with Trump should be “removed from society.”

The former ESPN, CNN and MSNBC anchor didn’t mince words regarding his opinion of the President and basically ruled out any hopes of attaining a position in Trump’s cabinet if he is re-elected.  “He, and his enablers, and his supporters, and his collaborators, and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs … and the Mike Pences, and the Rudy Giulianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try to rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has destroyed by turning it over to a virus,”. Olbermann also argued that the FBI should identify Trump as an ‘unindicted co-conspirator” of the plot to kidnap Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Tying the President to the kidnapping plot may be a stretch. Videos circulating online have actually shown at least one of the accused plotters railing against President Trump in front of an anarchist flag.

Nice to see a subtle return to the airwaves for Olbermann.
