A 17-year-old YouTuber decided to take his father’s one-of-a-kind $3.4 million Pagani Huayra Roadster for a spin this week and sent the vehicle airborne into a tree. Gage Gillean, the teenage driver, sustained minor injuries, while the car appeared to be a total loss. Following the collision, Gage posted a photo of the wreckage on his Instagram account and commented “S**t Happens.”

Gage’s father, Tim Gillean, is the founder of Dallas-based private equity firm Cross Equities and actually owns an entire fleet of high-end vehicles. This particular car looks like it was a rather recent acquisition, as Tim posted a video of the “New Arrival” back in June. The Roadster is capable of accelerating from zero to over 60 mph in around three seconds and can reach speeds up to 210 mph.

Following the crash, Gage posted a photo of himself with his arm in a sling and commented, “S**t happens. Thanking God for a second chance at life. Crash could’ve left us with worse injuries or even death.”

Pagani typically only makes about 30 of its ultra-high-end hypercars per year. The production of just one vehicle takes roughly 10 months’ worth of work.

In addition to the Pagani, Tim Gillean also reportedly owns a McLaren Senna, Ferrari LaFerrari, Rolls-Royce Dawn, Lamborghini Urus and a Bugatti Chiron. He also apparently dished out $20 million recently on a new yacht.

Do you think Gage will be taking over as captain of that ship anytime soon?
