The FBI is looking for help from the public as they attempt to identify the individuals involved in the security breach and violence at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday. The agency took to its Twitter account Thursday morning to ask for assistance.

“FBI is seeking info that will assist in identifying individuals who are actively instigating violence in Washington, DC. FBI is accepting tips & digital media depicting rioting & violence in the U.S. Capitol Building & surrounding area on January 6, 2021,” the tweet read. It also included a link to a website that people can fill out to submit tips and any digital media evidence of the rioting and violence people may have.

As the protests at the Capitol escalated, individuals broke windows, entered both the Senate and House chambers and even found their way into various lawmakers’ offices, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Fifty-two people ended up being arrested in the chaos that also left four people dead. One of the deaths was a woman shot by U.S. Capitol Police, while the others died from separate medical emergencies. According to D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee, at least 14 officers were injured during the demonstrations and two pipe bombs were recovered from the Democratic National Committee and Republic National Committee headquarters.

Critics have called for Donald Trump’s impeachment over the events at the Capitol. Trump meanwhile released a statement acknowledging an orderly transition on Jan. 20.
