The Beyhive is about to swarm Peloton. The “Single Ladies” and more in Beyonce’s ardent following are about to get in “Formation” to “Upgrade U” physically with her exclusive music on Peloton’s streamed workouts.

Beyonce, Peloton’s most requested artist, signed a multi-year agreement with the bike maker to create themed workout experiences for indoor cycling, strength, boot camp, yoga and meditation.

“Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys,” Beyonce said in a release.

Peloton’s stock has jumped 252% this year as people searched for ways to stay in shape while quarantining, but it took a 20% hit with Monday’s announcement of a COVID-19 vaccine. The stock received a 7% jump Tuesday morning after Beyonce’s news.

The themed workouts will pay homage to historically Black colleges and universities, much like her Coachella “Homecoming” concert film. Beyonce and Peloton also will give two-year digital memberships to students at 10 HBCUs.

Most homecoming celebrations are going virtual this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, so the announcement is a timely alternative for HBCU students.

“I’m proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens,” Beyonce said.

It’s good that Beyonce is getting some recognition, because the Vogue magazine covers, her songs being played at election celebrations, Ivy Park/Adidas sportswear line’s boom and her daughter, Blue Ivy, voicing the children’s audiobook “Hair Love” was keeping her under the radar this month.
