It’s probably safe to say that at least one of the early ballots in Florida has been cast with a vote for Donald Trump, as the president officially filled out his own ballot this morning in West Palm Beach. Trump tweeted, “JUST VOTED. A great honor!” after telling a group of supporters “I voted for a guy named Trump.”

Greeted at the polling site by a large crowd of supporters, the president wore a mask as he stepped into the building to cast his vote. Trump could have voted by mail, but he chose to vote in person and urged his supporters to do the same. “When you send in your ballot it could never be like that. It could never be secure like that,” he said.

The president joined more than 56 million Americans who have already cast their ballots for the Nov. 3 election. Last year Trump moved his official residence from New York City to his private club at Mar-a-Lago, after he was unhappy with politicians in the Big Apple.

Trump was in Florida for campaign rallies on Friday and has a whirlwind weekend on tap with stops in North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin all scheduled.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen also earned their “I VOTED” stickers, casting their early ballots in Indianapolis on Friday.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden has not voted yet, and all indications are that he plans to wait to cast his ballot on Election Day, as Delaware doesn’t offer early voting. As for the weekend, Biden is sticking to drive-in events and will be in Pennsylvania with Jon Bon Jovi on Saturday.
