Ratings Stunt Or Animosity? Things Get Testy On “The View” During Interview With Georgia Senate Winner.

Current TV says Joy Behar will soon be joining the network to host a prime-time talk show. Meghan McCain is back on “The View” and it’s going about as well as you would expect.

The talk show host became a mom to little Liberty Sage McCain Domenech in late September. She’s been on maternity leave since then, which means she missed the chance to comment on the outcome of the general election and everything that has happened since then.

But this week McCain returned to her job as the sole Republican voice on “The View” and it appears absence did not make the heart of one of her co-hosts grow fonder. McCain has always butted heads with the more liberal Democrats sitting next to her (or in the Zoom box as the case may be), especially co-host Joy Behar.

The first day back in the saddle went smoothy enough, but by day two, the ladies were back at the bitterness when Behar began speaking about how the Republican Party is in “much more trouble” than the Democratic Party because “you have traitors.”

McCain interjected with, “Are you kidding me? You have AOC.” Then they just started talking over each other until McCain sarcastically added, “Joy, you missed me so much when I was on maternity leave. You missed me so much. You missed fighting with me.”

To which Behar responds, “I did not. I did not miss you. Zero.”

Meghan has just one word for Joy. It was “nasty.”

The next day, there was no name calling (at least on camera), but co-host Whoopi Goldberg stepped up to show McCain who’s the boss. During an interview, Georgia Sen.-elect Rev. Raphael Warnock, McCain continued to press for answers regarding progressives concerns about what his election could mean in regards to eliminating the filibuster and packing the Supreme Court with more members.

When Warnock’s spin didn’t satisfy McCain, she kept asking the same question until Whoopi yelled in frustration, “Hey, listen! We’re going to say thanks to the Senator-elect Rev. Raphael Warnock.”

Warnock then smiled and said it’s “great to be on ‘The View!’”

The co-hosts may all disagree.
