For anyone who watched the 10-part documentary on the 1990’s Chicago Bulls “The Last Dance” knows darn well that Michael Jordan might be one of the fiercest competitors ever. There are people that still get to see some of that fire and relentless need to not just win, but to destroy, conquer, demoralize and crush that MJ still has. Yes, still.

A professional golfer named Dominic Bozzelli made the cut at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club in the Dominican Republic, and it turns out he also watched “The last Dance” and could 100% relate to Jordan’s taunting and tough love he showed one of his teammates, Scott Burrell. The reason Bozzelli understood it, is because he’s received it.

Jordan plays frequently at the same golf club where Bozzelli is a member, and they have played roughly 100 rounds together. “Just like you saw in the documentary, he has ways where he’s trying to make you better,” Bozzelli told USA Today. “He’ll start jabbing at me early. If I hit a bad drive, he’ll say something like, ‘That’s why you’re not playing the major this week.’ Or stuff like that. He keeps ribbing me.”

You’ve probably heard stories of what a golf freak Jordan is. Bozzelli confirmed it, saying Jordan routinely plays 36 holes when he’s out. And it wouldn’t be a golf game to MJ if there wasn’t money on the line.
