If you love dirty laundry, Prince Harry is getting ready to dump a cargo ship full of it on the world, as we discovered Monday that he has been working on a no-holds-barred tell-all book that he’s sold to Penguin Random House and will come out this fall.

Harry is working with the acclaimed ghost writer J.R. Moehringer, who has written memoirs in the past on Nike founder Phil Knight and tennis legend Andre Agassi.

The original deadline for the manuscript according to Page Six was supposed to be August, but because of how much dirt the prince is trying to shovel into the book, it has been extended to October.

Here’s what Harry said in a statement once news of the secret book got out.

“I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story— the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned — I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Oprah is probably already licking her chops and putting together questions to ask the prince when she sits down with her neighbor in Montecito, California.
