Prince Harry must have missed the part where Joe Rogan backpedaled for his comments on the COVID vaccine three weeks ago, and actually called himself a “moron” for making the statement.

Not wanting to miss a chance to jump on a news cycle topic that died a very long time ago, the Prince appeared on Dax Shepard and Monica Padman’s podcast called “Armchair Expert” and took Rogan to task, putting him on Royal Blast for “spreading misinformation.”

Here’s what Harry said. “The issue is in today’s world with misinformation endemic, you’ve got to be careful about what comes out of your mouth.”

But wait, Harry was just warming up.  “With a platform comes responsibility” and it’s better for those without professional knowledge or expertise to “stay out of it.”

In case you are in the same  boat as  98% of the rest of the world and already forgot what Rogan said that was so “controversial,” here is what Rogan told his audience.

“If you’re like 21 years old, and you say to me, ‘Should I get vaccinated?’ I’ll go no. If you’re a healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young, and you’re eating well, I don’t think you need to worry about this.”

He followed that with a mea culpa on his next show.  “I am not a doctor. I am a f—king moron. I am a cage-fighting commentator… I am not a respected source of information even for me. But I at least try to be honest about what I am saying.”

So that’s that.  Let this be a warning to all opinionated commentator’s out there: Prince Harry is listening.
