As we inch closer to Election Day on Nov. 3, each day brings a story more incredible than the previous day. On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced at her weekly press conference that she intends to discuss a constitutional measure with the intent of removing President Donald Trump from office.

The reasons why? She claims it’s because of his health. She is within her powers granted by the 25th Amendment, which allows for the vice president to become acting president if the determination is made that the president cannot discharge the powers and duties of his office.

“Tomorrow, by the way, tomorrow, come here tomorrow,” Pelosi said. “We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment,” Fox News quoted Pelosi as saying.

Unsurprisingly, President Trump responded. Quickly, via Twitter.

“Crazy Nancy is the one who should be under observation,” he said. “They don’t call her Crazy for nothing!”

At question is Trump’s health following his treatment for COVID-19, after the positive test result of last Thursday. Trump said on a Thursday-morning Fox news show that he was feeling good.

“I think that the public needs to know the health condition of the President,” Pelosi said. “There’s one question that he refused to answer … when was his last negative [COVID-19] test?” Pelosi said that this information is necessary in order to “make a judgment about the actions that were taken after that.”
