Patrick Bet-David, Valuetainment founder – (full  disclosure) – and his wife, Jennifer, have announced their presence in South Florida in a spectacular way, purchasing a palatial and opulent contemporary waterfront mansion in a record-setting transaction.

Bet-David, who is the head of his number one media network for entrepreneurs, and founder of the national financial services company PHP Agency, paid $20.4 million for the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., spread, which was $4.5 million under the asking price.

The home price dwarfs the record for Bay Colony, a waterfront-only community of homes, whose previous high mark for a home sale was $11.5 million early last year. Bay Colony is where the late fast-food industry icons  Ray Kroc and Dave Thomas lived for years.

Home ownership in Bay Colony includes big-time security: The properties are patrolled by armed guards, according to Compass agent Tim Elmes of the Elmes Group, who handled both sides of the deal.

“The lifestyle (the buyers) are getting is just fantastic, it’s like having your own mini Four Seasons,” Elmes said in a Barrons.com story.

Bet-David moved Valuetainment’s headquarters to Boca Raton four months ago and its ongoing expansion has led to a search for office space in the city.

The Bet-Davids purchased the home, along the city’s Intracoastal Waterway, from Vincent Virga, founder and CEO of SkillStorm, and his wife, Joyce.

The home was built on 1.13 acres in 2016 and comprises 10,436 square feet, including six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a media room, a fitness room, a fire pit, a wine cellar, a pool, a putting green, a bar, an elevator and a summer kitchen.

The corner-lot mansion has 800 feet of waterfront, including a comfortable parking spot for a yacht — with a lift and a dock.

It’s been a memorable year for the Bet-Davids already. Valuetainment has settled into a robust growth phase, with the PBD podcast gaining popularity weekly and garnering over 500,000 views of the segments for each twice weekly episode. The Valuetainment YouTube channel has grown to over 3.2 million subscribers, and Bet David’s business book “Your Next Five Moves” was a Wall Street Journal International #1 Bestseller in 2020, and the June  release of the paperback was in instant best seller.

On top of that, the Bet-Davids are expecting their fourth child later this month.

The photos below are incredible, but they don’t truly do the home justice because it’s that spectacular… So, who would like Patrick to do a first-hand walking tour video of the home?
