U.S. Attorney General William Barr was most likely already on Donald Trump’s “To be fired” list, but the latest reports on Barr holding back the Hunter Biden stories probably have him grabbing the No. 1 spot.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Barr reportedly hid information on two federal probes involving Hunter Biden for months. Apparently, Barr had been working since last spring to avoid the public disclosure of the information during the November election.

Trump and Republicans had called on Barr to investigate Joe Biden’s son in the run-up to the election. Now it turns out that the investigations had been going on for months and Barr just didn’t want to disclose it.

As the Wall Street Journal pointed out, Department of Justice guidelines caution investigators from taking any overt actions as an election draws near so they are not seen as trying to influence the outcome.

Donald Trump took to Twitter to let everyone know how he felt about this latest drop of information, tweeting, “Why didn’t Bill Barr reveal the truth to the public, before the Election, about Hunter Biden. Joe was lying on the debate stage that nothing was wrong, or going on – Press confirmed. Big disadvantage for Republicans at the polls!”

It is interesting to look back over the last few years and see that anytime Trump was being investigated for anything it seemed to leak out immediately, yet an investigation into Joe Biden’s son remained quiet for most of the year, even as stories in the New York Post referencing exactly what was being investigated were attacked and censored.
