Business has been good for JPMorgan Chase. How good?  They are building a new corporate headquarters at 270 Park Avenue.  The skyscraper will rise 1,388 feet into the air, becoming the sixth-tallest building in the Manhattan skyline.  And it will be an all-electric tower, a zero-emissions building powered by renewable energy sourced from a hydroelectric plant.

The building will soar 60 stories into the air and offer 2.5 million square feet of office space. Fourteen thousand employees will work there, and amenities will include a fitness center, yoga, cycling rooms, medical facilities, and prayer and meditation spaces.

Here’s what CEO Jamie Dimon said about the health and wellness aspect of the building.

“We are extremely excited about the building’s state-of-the-art technology, health and wellness amenities, and public spaces, among many other features. It is in the best location in one of the world’s greatest cities.”

The building will be uber high-tech.  AI and machine learning systems will monitor energy needs and water usage.  According to a story in Robb Report, the building itself will be constructed almost exclusively from recycled, reused, or upcycled materials from the site’s existing structure.

This building will be awesome for employees. Assuming they go to the office to work.
