Being famous can suck some times.
The mother of the 24-year old Ohio woman who was caught on video grinding up against Jacksonville Jaguars coach Urban Meyer at the restaurant Meyer owns in Columbus, Ohio, said she has serious concerns for her daughter because of all the fallout.
Here’s what she told USA Today.
“(She) can’t even go anywhere. It’s ruining her life is what it’s doing. I’m worried for her emotional status right now.”
The woman works for a company called New Horizons Media Group in Columbus. The company told USA Today through an attorney that they are now doing an internal investigation of the woman.
That might lead you to wonder why she would need to be under investigation by her employer. A lot of people wondered the same thing, and the attorney tried to explain why.
“We’ve had no prior issues with her whatsoever. She’s been a very solid asset to the company. We’re going to undertake our internal investigation to determine what, if any, impact this has on the company and we’ll proceed accordingly.”
So, just to review.
Urban Meyer is the married coach of a winless football team that is actually doing worse since he took the job. Many NFL insiders don’t think he’s cut out to be a pro coach, and predict he won’t last past this season.
The woman in the viral video is according to her employer an excellent employee, but she’s the one who’s employment appears to be in. jeopardy.
The woman’s mother is concerned about what could happen next, according to what she told USA Today.
“I just pray that Alex doesn’t fire my daughter because she needs this job. She just bought a house.”
