The question of whether Donald Trump will turn stool pigeon is entering the conversation surrounding the ongoing investigation into the Trump Organization.

Trump’s former longtime lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, said Wednesday that he believed the former president would, indeed, “flip” as New York investigators turned up the heat by announcing the procedure is now criminal as opposed to civil.

Cohen’s comments to MSNBC included his belief that Trump would spare no one, not even family members, if things became too hot.

The New York State Attorney General, Letitia James, is combining forces with the Manhattan district attorney’s office in the Trump case.

The discussions about strategy for the prosecutions surrounded Trump’s former lawyer Rudy Giuliani and the Trump Organization’s CFO, Allen Weisselberg, among others, as far as who might cut a deal.

But Cohen points right to his former boss.

“I think Donald Trump is going to flip on all of them, including his children,” he said, adding: “I really believe that Donald Trump cares for only himself and he realizes that his goose is cooked.”

Cohen worked more than 10 years for Trump and was among the primary targets in the case of hush-money payments made to women who claimed to have had affairs with Trump in the 2000s.

In 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to several felonies.

Following CNN’s mention of the New York investigation moving to “criminal,” Cohen took to Twitter and posted an image of Trump in jail.

“Soon enough, Donald and Associates will be held responsible for their actions,” he said.

During his MSNBC appearance Wednesday, Cohen expanded on his belief that Trump would point fingers: “This is the problem,” Cohen said. “It’s never ever Donald Trump. It’s always somebody else.”
