A day after learning that Hunter Biden is indeed under a federal criminal investigation, more details are surfacing about the case that centers around his business dealings with China.

A month before the election, reports began to surface that Hunter and Joe Biden had been profiting off of their political connections. Yesterday, Hunter acknowledged the investigation, claiming, “I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs.”

The federal investigation is reportedly looking into gifts that Hunter received from China that he may not have reported.

A recently released Senate report also outlined some of Hunter’s “potential financial criminal activity” with Chinese nationals. It’s not clear if the transactions detailed in the Senate panel’s report are the same as those being investigated by the U.S. Attorney.

According to Fox News, the Senate report details Hunter’s business dealings with the founder of CEFC China Energy Co. “Hunter Biden had business associations with Ye Jianming, Gongwen Dong and other Chinese nationals linked to the Communist government and the People’s Liberation Army,” the report says. “Those associations resulted in millions of dollars in cash flow.” The report also says that the relationship between Biden and the Chinese nationals began in 2015, while Joe Biden was vice president.

The report also made it clear that Hunter isn’t the only Biden with financial ties to the communist country. “Ye’s connections to the Communist government are extensive and … Ye was also financially connected to Vice President Biden’s brother, James Biden,” the report says. “Thus, there exists a vast web of corporate connections and financial transactions between and among the Biden family and Chinese nationals.”

The Senate report lists numerous instances of transactions flagged as “potential financial criminal activity.”

The investigations will continue, but it’s becoming pretty clear that the Biden’s have a China problem on their hands as Joe prepares to take office.
