Well, this will not go down as what might commonly be called a “shocker.”
Iconic superstars Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have called off their wedding, and the whole relationship, making it official on Friday.
What initially seemed like a Hollywood relationship that their publicists and managers may have loved more than the two actually loved each other, it grew it what appeared to be a real commitment of a couple global superstars.
A-Rod gave her a ring in 2019 and they were planning their wedding before COVID hit last year and put a kibosh on that.
The were seen together in public at the Presidential Inauguration of Joe Biden on January 20, but they had not posted a photo together on Instagram since February 28, so something must have been up for a couple weeks.
They were also publicly trying to put an offer in to buy the New York Mets, but their bid fell through and the team was sold to Steve Cohen.
No word on what they are going to with the $40 million house they bough together in the summer of 2020 on Star Island in Miami.
That Miami house is just one of the many real estate and business ventures they collaborate on, and the New York Post is reporting that representatives for both stars are working frantically to divide it all up.
Now the big question; why?
Well, there was a scandal. A-Rod allegedly had been FaceTiming with Madison LeCroy, one of the stars of the Bravo show “Southern Charm.” Both LeCroy and Rodriguez say they haven’t even met in person.
Maybe now they will.
