One of the perks of owning multiple golf courses is that it’s pretty easy to get a tee time. One downside of being the soon-to-be former President of the United States is that it’s hard to keep a secret.

A report out of the UK on Tuesday said President Trump might be planning on taking a trip to Scotland on Jan. 19 – which just happens to be the day before Joe Biden is set to be inaugurated as Trump’s replacement.

A story in The Sunday Post said, “Prestwick airport has been told to expect the arrival of a US military Boeing 757 aircraft, that is occasionally used by Trump, on January 19 – the day before his Democratic rival takes charge at the White House.”

Adding intrigue to this story is another report out of Prestwick that said US Army aircraft had been carrying out 3D reconnaissance of Trump’s Turnberry resort.

However, the official word from the president’s circle is that he hasn’t made any concrete plans for where he’ll be on Inauguration Day.

Judd Derre, the White House deputy press secretary, told Fox, “Anonymous sources who claim to know what the president is or is not considering have no idea. When President Trump has an announcement about his plans for Jan. 20, he will let you know.”

One perk of being a billionaire is that Trump does have multiple options for golf courses in the U.S. that he owns, which would allow him to save some jet fuel.
