From A.C. Slater on “Saved by the Bell” to Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame, Mario Lopez is going from jock to KFC chef for a new role. Posters, photos and even a trailer for a Lifetime movie called “A Recipe for Seduction” started popping up across social media and the web on Monday. The movie features Lopez as the king of fried chicken, Colonel Sanders.

So, what can we expect? According to ads released for the movie, “We all have our secrets, his just happens to be… A Recipe for Seduction.”

A description of the movie from EW.com describes the plot: “As the holidays draw near, a young heiress contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. When the handsome chef, Harland Sanders, arrives with his secret fried chicken recipe and a dream, he sets in motion a series of events that unravels the mother’s devious plans. Will our plucky heiress escape to her wintry happily ever after with Harland at her side, or will she cave to the demands of family and duty?”

A “Recipe for Seduction” is actually going to be a “mini-movie” that will debut on Lifetime at noon on Sunday, Dec. 13. The 15-minute “Lifetime Original” is presented by Kentucky Fried Chicken.

KFC tweeted out information about the movie saying, “Some folks take their secrets to the grave, but Colonel Sanders takes his to the deep fryer.”

Now Colonel, what exactly are you doing with those secret herbs and spices?
