Yes, bacteria and fungus are lurking in your dishwasher! If you’ve never cleaned it out, Now is the time!    I know it may seem intimidating to take apart the dishwasher, but most of the parts click back in to place, however, I have seen some dishwashers where you need to unscrew some screws to take a piece off. You can use a drill or a screwdriver for this.

You’d be surprised at how disgusting a dishwasher could get over the years if you don’t schedule in a cleaning for it! The gunk that is found in there is something you would never expect to see in an appliance that is meant to keep your dishes sparking clean. Just look at the video down below of this dishwasher. It was purchased new, used almost daily, and not cleaned out in almost 5 years! Don’t let your dishwasher get to this point. I mean, you’re eating and drinking from the cups and plates that your dishwasher is cleaning for you, so take care of it and eat off of some bacteria-free dishes!

Prepare to be disgusted. Happy cleaning everyone!
