President Joe Biden is being trolled because of rising gas prices, and Biden’s son Hunter provides a major bull’s-eye.

A roadside advertising screen for Lewis Country Store in Nashville, Tenn., is playing a series of memes needling the Bidens including an image of Hunter Biden smoking in a bathtub. The accompanying caption reads, “hope gas prices don’t get too high.”

Hunter Biden has fought a highly visible battle with drug addiction.

Other memes rolling under the pump pricing include an image of Fox News host Tucker Carlson laughing and an empty gas gauge, using the “E” in the Biden-Harris logo.

Gas prices saw a dramatic hike in the wake of the Colonial Pipeline cyberattack. The pipeline serves the majority of the Southeast and East Coast.

The Nashville store – which has an attached restaurant and a history of advertising right-leaning rhetoric – has its opinion on mask wearing at the entrance, too.

“You are not required to verify your medical condition if you decline to wear a mask in our facility nor are we allowed to ask you due to HIPPA rules and regulations,” the sign reads. “Mayor John Cooper and his band of communist cohorts are ‘the real virus’ threatening Nashville!!!”

So, they’re not subtle.

Lewis Country store formerly included Shell branding, but according to Fox17 in Nashville, the company pulled its images in 2016 because they believed the barrage of political messages had become too controversial.

In response, the Lewis family owners placed signs on their gas pumps which read, “Due to our refusal to remove our pro-Trump sign, Shell has de-branded us. We will not be threatened or intimidated. Our doors will remain open. Vote Trump on Nov. 8th so this does not happen to you,” according to the Nashville Scene.
