Celebrities continue to look like they have nothing better to do than hang on President Trump’s every word, as numerous lower-level celebs jumped all over Donald Trump overnight on social media as the president declared victory in a number of swing states. The president also thanked the American people “for their tremendous support. Millions and millions of people voted for us tonight and a very sad group of people is trying to disenfranchise that group of people and we will not stand for it.”

A-List actors appeared to have better things to do than attack Trump, while C-list , D-list and even Patton Oswalt, who apparently self-identifies as a celeb, took to Twitter to attack the president.

George Takei, who played Sulu on “Star Trek” light years ago and was also a contestant on “The Apprentice” tweeted, “GOP leaders: Now would be a good time to grow a backbone and denounce Trump’s early claim of victory when there are millions of votes still to be counted in hotly contested states.”

Debra Messing reacted to Trump’s claim that Democrats were attempting “to STEAL the Election,” tweeting “I had to PASTE #Trump’s tweet because Twitter slapped a warning on his tweet as being misleading/inaccurate. (LIE). As predicted, an attempt to paint DEMOCRACY as criminal. Nope. Counting ALL the ballots of voters is the POINT of a #democracy. Sorry Charlie.”

Rosie O’Donnell didn’t really bother denouncing anything Trump said, instead going with the simple “dumbest president ever” in her Tweet.

As for Oswalt, he tweeted out, “This is beyond dangerous what he’s doing right now. #ElectionNight.”

Many might find comfort knowing Patton is watching out for all of our safety while we wait for his next appearance as a last-minute replacement on Celebrity Match Game on ABC.
