Some alarming reports are coming out of Uvalde in the wake of the school shooting Tuesday in Texas, where 19 school children were killed by an 18-year-old murderer, and it involves the seemingly cowardly lack of action of the local and school district police force.

Thankfully, there was heroic law enforcement personnel who followed their instincts and lived up to the oath they had taken of trying to protect innocent civilians.  According to an NBC report, 8- federal U.S. Border Patrol agents descended on the school when they got word of what was happening.  Unfortunately, they were ordered by local police to wait and not go into the school and take out the shooter.

Here’s part of the NBC story describing what happened next.

“After approximately 30 minutes passed, however, the federal agents opted of their own volition to lead the ‘stack’ of officers inside the school and take down the shooter.”

The report said the breaking point for the officers to do something came when they saw local police holding back parents who were trying to get into the building themselves to try and save their children.

Jacob Albarado is the agent being named as the hero that killed the murderer.  The New York Times reported that Albarado was at his barber getting a haircut when he received a text from his school teacher wife that there was an active shooter at Rob Elementary School.  His barber gave Albarado a shotgun, and he raced to the school.

The Border Agents who took matters into their own hands got into the classroom by using a key from the school janitor. The elite tactical team quickly took out the murderer with overwhelming firepower.
