Say this about Anthony Fauci; he’s learned how to get himself paid.  The 81-year old is the highest-paid federal government employee in the land. Yes, he makes more than the President, with a salary exceeding $600,000 per year.

Well, when he finally walks away from his gig (he said he wouldn’t quit until the pandemic is over), he is set to cash in yet again, with a retirement package that will rank as the largest in U.S. government history.

Forbes reported that Fauci would get an incredible $350,000 per year at least in a pension when he retires.

Here’s a quote from the story.

“Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com estimate Dr. Fauci’s annual retirement would exceed $350,000. After that, his pension and benefits would continue to increase through annual cost-of-living adjustments.”

Fauci has earned almost $1.3 million in salary from 2018-2020. Four-star generals in the military have their salary capped at $282,000.  The U.S. President can only make $400,000.

There are over 4.3 million federal government employees, and Fauci is the highest paid of all of them.

Oh, and if you’re hoping he might be inclined to drive away in a Brink’s truck and enjoy some time on the beach, forget it. He loves the spotlight way too much.  Here’s what he told ABC this month.

“There’s no way I’m going to walk away from this until we get this under control. I mean, that’s the purpose of what we do. That’s – that’s our mission in life. In the middle of it, I’m not going to walk away.”
