It’s a rare day in 2021 when Elon Musk isn’t making news some way, and as the year winds down, he’s saving some of his best material for now.
He just launched a nuclear assault on Elizabeth Warren after they ended their famous Twitter spat, telling the Babylon Bee that the Senator asked for it.
“She struck first, obviously. She called me a freeloader and a grifter who doesn’t pay taxes, basically.”
Here’s the backstory; Musk was recently named Time’s Person of the Year, and Warren went on the attack, tweeting this about Musk.
“Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else.”
Warren is old (72) and comes across as an incredibly bitter person, so it’s understandable she could get some facts messed up. Which Musk informed her that she did.
“I’m literally paying the most tax than any individual in history has ever paid this year, ever, and she doesn’t pay taxes, basically. And her salary is paid for by the taxpayer like me. If you could die by irony, she would be dead.”
Musk was asked about the topic of wokeness, and the world’s richest person did not hold back on that topic either, eloquently defining what he describes as a toxic, deplorable tool for cowards.
“At its heart, wokeness is divisive, exclusionary, and hateful. It basically gives mean people … a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.”
