Donald Trump Jr. tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week, which should come as little surprise considering how the numbers of cases have risen nationally over the past few weeks and the proximity of Trump Jr. to members of his father’s staff who have also tested positive. “Don tested positive at the start of the week and has been quarantining out at his cabin since the result,” a spokesperson for Trump Jr. told Bloomberg News.

Up to this point he has yet to show any symptoms, like so many others who have tested positive since the pandemic struck this past winter. Donald Jr. is the president’s second son to contract coronavirus, as his 14-year-old brother Barron tested positive in October.

Earlier on Friday, Andrew Giuliani, the son of Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani, also announced he tested positive one day after he attended the press conference his father held at the Republican National Committee headquarters.
