A hotel maid in Denver is a hero, for potentially thwarting a mass shooting at the Major League All Star Game and its corresponding events this weekend.

The story is chilling.  A maid at a downtown hotel near Coors Field reported seeing lots of guns in a room.  Police investigated, and found 16 long guns, over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, and body armor.

Four people were arrested, just three days before the Home Run Hitting Contest Monday and the All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Initial fears were that this group was planning some sort of “Las Vegas-style shooting, similar to what happened in 2017 during a country music festival when a gunman killed 60 concertgoers.

After the alert and heroic maid made the report, a massive police response followed. One of the four people arrested was recently divorced, and reportedly posted on Facebook his plans were to “go out in a big way.”

On top of the weapons charges, three of the four were also being charged with drug crimes too.

The hotel maid should be honored at the game Tuesday for her quick thinking.
