Joe Biden appeared on The Today Show Friday and informed the world that he plans to continue to wear a mask outdoors, even though the ever-cautious CDC said vaccinated people can remove them when they are outside.

Does he like them as a fashion accessory? Maybe, but he explained it differently.  “It’s a small precaution to take that has a profound impact. It’s a patriotic responsibility for God’s sake.’

He also said whenever he’s outside, people are always coming up to him, so he’s taking no chances, even though he’s fully vaccinated.

BIden told host Craig Melvin that he urges all Americans to get the vaccine, and when pressed about whether he would order military members to get vaccinated, he said “I’m going to leave that to the military.”

Another nteresting bit of info that came out of the interview is Biden saying that all schools should be open by fall.

As for the crisis at the southern border of the U.S., Biden continues to blame former President Donald Trump, and then heaped praise on his administration for getting it under control. ‘It’s way down now. We’ve now got control.”

Just exactly why is it  Trump’s fault for what’s taking place? According to Biden, Trump’s team didn’t plan for the seasonal upsurge. They didn’t have beds that were available. They didn’t plan for the overflow.”

Friday marks the 100th day in office for Biden.
