Two weeks ago, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck strolled into The Little White Wedding Chapel a few minutes after nine PM.  It was a Saturday night, and pastor Ryan Wolfe had been officiating weddings all day, 25 of them.  He wasn’t excited to do one more until he noticed who was getting out of the blue Escalade that had just pulled into the parking lot of the famous chapel unannounced.

It was Affleck and Lopez, long-time lovers, who found a way to avert the paparazzi and get married without almost anyone knowing about it.  They paid the $75 chapel fee to get hitched, and Wolfe pronounced them man and wife a few minutes later. (If you’re wondering if Affleck tipped the minister; yes, a few hundred dollars.)

The big question now is, will this marriage last?

Hell no, says J-Lo’s first husband.  A guy by the name of Ojai Noa, who married the relatively unknown Lopez way back in 1997.

Here’s what he told the Daily Mail.

“I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last.”

Wow, that’s a little harsh. Why do you think they will eventually head to divorce court, Mr. Noa?

“I think she’s someone who will be married seven or eight times. I can’t see her ever settling down with one person.”She pushes herself to constantly go forward in her professional life, which is why she’s had a three-decade career, but she also moves on in her private life.”

Okay, the man does have a point.  Lopez and Noa were married for a year before breaking up. Next on the nuptials list was his Judd, a backup dancer for Lopez who was married to her for a couple of years.

Next, J-Lo married Marc Anthony, and that marriage lasted ten years, a good run for the pop icon.

Affleck is the latest man in her life, and according to Noa, Ben better enjoy it while he can.

“Ben is husband number four, I was husband number one, and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.”

So far, the couple seems pretty happy and content.
