It’s a pretty baller move to buy a ticket on a Virgin Galactic flight, and thereby thrust yourself into some very rare air of lucky civilians to be able to fly into space.

While that is the epitome of cool, I’m not sure how you would describe what happened to Ashton Kutcher.

The famous actor scored a ticket on an upcoming mission after forking over $200K to Richard Branson’s company, and he was all set to join that short list of human civilians who have flown into space. But then, the mission was aborted for Kutcher, and the reason why might have some people telling him to hand in his man card and sit in the corner for a while.

His wife wouldn’t let him go.

That’s right, Mila Kunis put the kibosh on the trip after having a talk with here hubby and “encouraging” him to reconsider.

“When I got married and had kids, my wife basically encouraged that it was not a smart family decision to be heading into space when we have young children, so I ended up selling my ticket back to Virgin Galactic.”

Note to Kutcher, next time don’t even mention the fact that you had a ticket for the trip.

Virgin Galactic is planning on having one more test flight, and then they are open for business for tourists.  And that first flight for non-astronauts is the one Kutcher was supposed to be on.

“At some point, I’m going to space,” he told the website Cheddar News.

Don’t say that too loudly Ashton, your wife might hear.
